Roman G Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Yes, both consoles hardware-specs are very good news. I never thought I will want console - but the specs are excelent ... so I don't know ... The only consoles spec not better than current PCs is the memory size (512MB for sum of system memory & GPU memory). Let's see how soon the games FULLY utilizing the console hardwares will arrive. I think it will take at least a year ...
ED Team Groove Posted May 18, 2005 ED Team Posted May 18, 2005 Yesterday i saw the first ingame videos of the PS3. This is unbelievable. Its like rendered movies, but its realtime ! Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
Force_Feedback Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Great preformance, but bear in mind that these consoles will be sold in a year, and are designed to last roughly six years to come, so pcs will eventually catch up. BUT, consoles are designed and optimised for games, thus giving better preformance with lower specs than a pc. Yet tv screens are the bottle neck IMHO. Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
Fish Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Yet tv screens are the bottle neck IMHO. HDTV will take care of that....
