ED Team Groove Posted May 18, 2005 ED Team Posted May 18, 2005 Hi, i have problems with starting both Engines on the SU25T simulatnously. I start up the APU and after a while im trying to start the Enginges with the "win home" key. But nothing happens. But when i start the engines one after another they both spin up. So i have to press CTRL+win home and then ALT+win home really fast to get the on the same rpm. Is this some kind of bug or do i something wrong ? Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en

Make sure that you have throttle set to idle before attempting to start engines. JJ
ED Team Groove Posted May 18, 2005 Author ED Team Posted May 18, 2005 Thx for response. My throttle is on idle. I forgot to mention it ! Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
pappavis Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Hi, i have problems with starting both Engines on the SU25T simulatnously. Is this some kind of bug or do i something wrong ? In a network game, when restarting i am unable to start the engines of the SU-25T. Is it a bug, or normal. I havent checked if i flood the engines with throttle yet. met vriendelijke groet, Михель "умный, спортсмен, комсомолетс" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SPECS: i9-9900K 32gigs RAM, Geforce 2070RTX, Creative XFi Fata1ity, TIR5, Valve Index & HP Reverb, HOTAS Warthog, Logitech G933 Headset, 10Tb storage.
zenTera Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 @ Groove Do you try with keyboard or with a programmable joystick? I also had difficulties when programming my X52, can't remember if the problem was also there with keyboard only. Anyway, since the 'old' commands Home and End don't seem to be used by FC (at least at this point), I remapped the engine commands in FC to Home and End again (also with Shift- and Alt-combinations) - working fine now. But the keyboard-commands really seem to do strange things sometimes. I for myself just tried to change zoom-level and target-size for the target-box of the SU-25T, but I can't get it to work. plus and minus do nothing, also in combination with Alt and Ctrl. Instead I suddenly gave my wingman the command to complete mission and rejoin!? Maybe it's because I use a german keyboard-layout? Really strange, will have to look further into it as soon as I get a little more time next week. But maybe by purpose someone also had this problem and has already found a solution?
169th_DedCat Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Starting from the parking area winkey-home should start up both engines. Your throttles do have to be at idle, that seems to be most people's problem when respawning. Check to see if the windowskey is assigned as some sort of hotkey for your joystick or trackIR software. It is possible it there could be a conflict in there somewhere. Play Hard - Play Fair Squadron Leader "DedCat" 169th Panthers - http://www.169thpanthers.net
stefostef Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 firts of all press Shift-L Electric power switch On/Off (for Su-25, Su-25T only) and wait about one or two minutes after you will start your engine
LTCOLJONES Posted May 19, 2005 Posted May 19, 2005 Up to Speed Guide Su25T This should do it.......check it out......... http://www.geocities.com/jzoomiethomas/UTS_Su25T.htm http://www.geocities.com/jzoomiethomas/flightsims.html
S77th-GOYA Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 Forthose having trouble with Win+Home, are you pressing the RWin key? Not all keyboards have a right windows key, like mine. I've reassigned engine start to just plain old Home with no problems. Yet.
cjlive Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 Some keyboards don't register the Rwin key as RWIN. It is also called the APPMENU key. To find out what yours is just go into Option -> Input , select keyboard. Right hand side menu click on RWin then click delete. After it clears Hit add and then press your Rwin key on your keyboard. Done.
JaBoG32_Prinzartus Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 I have tried all. I cant start my engines on Su-25T any more. APU checked on, No flooding, no key remapping etc. Just refuses to work suddenly. It has worked before all the time. I just tied to re assign the RWIN key in the right options panel, does not help. Strange is, that I can start all other planes as usual with my jostick-button that uses RWIN+Home as it always did befor. It suddenly is just not working with SU-25T anymore. :noexpression: @Groove: How did you manage to solve the issue?
