I've already got a cougar and I don't see much difference in the stick and as far as sensors go I haven't had any problems with the cougar...

Maybe my cougar will have an "accident" like my saitek did...

So far its been dripfeeding the fact that the X52 is... eh.. not working the way it should:smilewink:. So I think by tuesday it will have given up the ghost. or an unforseen "accident" happens involving coffee and wires? perhaps :D.

Anyway I've got my eyes set on the stick. I have an old Sidewinder FFB2 I was going to replace with the X52. Holy crap that stick's center tension is so weak, I'm not used to it at all! I can easily justify the TMWH - to myself at least!

Might as well throw this in here too, I see MadDogMcQ has MFDs?! I thought it was just the button ring at first, but it appears the game is displaying a picture in them? Do you need some sort of video output for these or do they run a picture off of the USB? Very intriguing! Could someone enlighten me as to what these are and how they function with the A-10?

Those are just cardboard inserts it comes with, not actual screens. You're correct in that they are just the frame + buttons.

 

Now, you can get little LCD screens to put in there, but I'm unclear about how to get them working properly. There's a video somewhere of someone with working LCD screens inside their MFCDs.

Quick update, she has arrived....

 

Oh yes its a she and a pretty she at that. So glad the missus is at work, me drooling over this really isnt a pretty sight.

My Saiteks in the big Amazon box that the TMWH arrived in. After giving her some "off the cuff" bullshit, she went back to the house, only to return two minutes later in a fury, having seen the new setup lit up like the Xmas tree in Times Square!
