Mojo Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 SAVING $$$$ I also went ahead and printed the thing at home; fortunately my wife is a tax preparer with a fast printer that includes color. Where I saved time was to print the first chapters on the A-10 prototype and specs, then when I got to the cockpit controls I switched over to color. My HP did the whole thing on less than one black cartridge, plus I had to install new cyan and magenta while I was preparing the thing. Used 96 brightness 24-pound paper and the thing looks really great. Yes, it might have been wise to split the thing up into multiple binders. In fact, the front part may not be of interest to many of you. Just start with the cockpit controls and then the operating chapters. Took it to Staples and got them to spiral bind the thing with a clear front cover and hard plastic blue back. It cost less that $6 to bind the thing. All total I think I spent less than $50 bucks and I still have ink in all my cartridges to keep my wife happy when she starts her printer up the next time she needs it. I would think that anyone with a cheap printer is better off waiting until they go on the market after the game hits the market.
astrospud Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I printed my Blackshark manual, my FC2 manual, my VRS superBug manual and a whole bunch of other stuff using one of these: Really cheap at AU$135 and the ink goes a really long way. Print quality is just as good as factory cartridges, just depends on the paper... :D Rectum non bustus
muamshai Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I see that you have sennheiser wireless headphones. Do you get pissed when there is no sound, and suddenly your ears are filled with static? This space is available for your advertisement
