I thought this might help provide a different way of looking at various HOTAS commands that was possibly easier to look at and learn than the table in the manual.

I was creative about the vocabulary in some places. The goal is more of a reminder sheet for someone who has read the manual but hasn't committed everything to memory than as a primary source of info. Criticism welcome.

Nice work Frederf...but i can see that it will be confusing for people with no experience... IMO u need to show where the hats are located not just what the switched do..

Very nice! !S!

But, is the Trim hat marking correct? I thought that trim forward (or up) was Nose Down?

Correct, Mr. Blaster. I changed to a color-coded scheme to reduce the labels. I'd like to have a pointer between the bottom and the "expanded" description but I can't figure out a way to do this without causing horrendous clutter.

New version, now with less eye bleed.

Awesome. Love the new symbol encoding.

One suggestion: can you put the Mav profiles above the AIM-9 ones? I ask just b/c I'm guessing folks are almost never in A-A mode, while Mavs get used more often. Hence, seeing Mav key definitions sooner would save the eye on scan time.

I was simply matching the order listed in the tables in the manual. Bottom of the list is probably better than second item up from the bottom in terms of quick scanning.

One thing I did toy with is to order them "outside-in" so an up/down switch would be:
