Kula66 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 (edited) Anything that could explain why I suddenly get a near total loss of control after flying along fine to 5mins? Looking at external view flight surfaces no longer move ... What did I press? :01cStrangeLossOfControl.trk Edited November 12, 2010 by Kula66

26-J39 Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 3 reasons. 1. You disengage the left aileron. 2. You disengage left elevator. 3. You switch to manual reversion which gives you limited control.
Kula66 Posted November 13, 2010 Author Posted November 13, 2010 (edited) Thanks for the responses, but: I wasn't high enough for hypoxia, plus no symptoms It wasn't a stall as the control surfaces ceased to operate - I switched to an external view to confirm this I switched to manual revision etc AFTER the event in an attempt to get some level of control back and I think I toggled the 4 switches in the left panel in the hope it would start working again. I can't recall doing anything that suddenly led to the controls not working ... no warning lights and this has happened before! :( Edited November 13, 2010 by Kula66
sweinhart3 Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 You must have got the demo version where controls are disable after 5min till you purchase the retail license.:megalol: Intel i7 990X, 6GB DDR3, Nvidia GTX 470 x2 SLI, Win 7 x64 http://picasaweb.google.com/sweinhart

Could "possibly" be a glitch in your usb port or cable. (like the connection uninterrupted for a split second or so)Try a different usb port, see if it happens again.
Kula66 Posted November 14, 2010 Author Posted November 14, 2010 26-j39 ... "Could "possibly" be a glitch in your usb port or cable" - it is a possibility, but I was able to use other functions such as switch to outside view and click switches in the pit.
