Nice feature of aerial images collecting, hope it'll be modelled too. I see it will be useful in our squad scenarios :D

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

Lockheed Martin Sniper ATP?

What makes you think thats is a sniper pod?

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

I was making an educated guess because of the resemblance of the images. After you post, I guess I'm wrong. Would you care to enlighten us, please :)

Oh, I don't know, that is why I was curious about how did you knew. I don't think there are many differences in the "symbology" between all 3 pods after modernization and upgrades so is hard to tell just by the video taken from the MFD. The sniper pod can see farther AFAIK but the original post video did not show range.

Seeing as the Sniper ATP's are now hanging on Station 10's in the real world;

any comment from DCS if this pod will be modeled in the future?

They already say they can't model anything added after the A-10C version they model in the sim, they say they are not allowed.

But i wonder if in the future they end up making a DCS module of another plane that uses a Sniper pod instead of Litening, if they could retrofit it to DCS:A-10C? :smartass:

if i dont be wrong eagledynamics is not allowed to release a realistic sniper pod ATP simulation to public

has anyone tried playing with the lua files on A10C to allow it as a loadout? You could let aircraft use sniper on BS but dont know how it would work with a player aircraft!
