For the good and benefit of all those members of the community who just wanna 'get in there' and attack this mission without setting up their own mindset SA, please allow me to furnish you with some basic 'must know' info:

Operation 'Dane' is Designed as a Low threat theatre of Operations that enables you to perfect Engagement skills taught by 104th_Tygers DCS: A-10C Instructional Video Series (IVS).In essence, follow your waypoints inline with instructions received.

WARNING: SOUND PROMPTS IN USE.

ENSURE YOUR SOUND SETTINGS ARE SETUP CORRECTLY TO HEAR THEM.

VOLUME: 100%

GUI: 100%

WORLD: 100%

IN COCKPIT: 50%

HELMET: 100%

MUSIC: 0%

Blue Brief:

WP1:

Start in the Air.

Active Pause & Configure systems.

WP2:

Engage Convoy with 2 x CBU87.

Configure CR 5 Mil mode via IFFCC.

Configure HOF via DSMS Inventory.

Configure Single Ripple Qty of 2.

WP3:

Engage 1 x Enemy Group with 1 x CBU87.

Reconfigure IFFCC to Manual Release.

'On Demand' Pylon 6 from the DSMS page.

Destroy any remanents with GAU-8.

TFO (To follow on)

Engage 1 x static 'Zulu Muster' of Veh's.

GUN PAC Off

Use the Walk thru method when firing.

TFO:

Engage 1 x Moving Enemy vehicle.

Use Gun Indicies on reticule.

WP4:

Climb.

Ensure CM's set and Jammer configured.

WP5:

FENCE IN to WP 6.

ID Priority Tgt (SAM) via TGP.

Engage Priority Tgt via AGM65H.

WP6:

Destroy remaining Tanks with AGM65's.

Destroy remaining Enemy with Rockets.

WP7:

Land.

Drink Beer!

This mission will remain dynamic and combine 'other' methods of engagement.

 

Anyone who wants to see a complete track of it being completed, pm me with an email address. it is 6.5mb in length and unedited - external views on so you can see what you like with the view keys. A point of note is that i completed the mission with the very last 'bullett' fired in anger. I was winchester - everything! This fact, will be taken into consideration before the update of 'Op Dane' .

I've flown this one 2 or 3 times in Beta 3 and have had no problems, just as when it was made during Beta 2 time period

I flew it the other day in Beta 3 and had no problems. Although I missed the convoy with the bombs and had to take them out with the gun.

I like the way in which the mission dictates release modes etc. so you get to know more capabilities of the aircraft. I didn't use CR modes a lot yet but it was very effective in your mission :D

Very nice mission, but I'm also having freezes, two out of two tries so far at different points.

On my next tries I got a CICU error twice right from the onset of the mission... wonder why that happens?
