Mustang Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) Available now :) http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/downloads.aspx release notes http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/1011releasenotes.aspx edit: just something to note, if you've been using the 10.10e Hotfix, it would be best to stick with that driver since 10.11 is at least a month older ;) Edited November 18, 2010 by Mustang

Atomic978 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 ATI Catalyst 10.11 Drivers are out.. I figured I would post this over here for you guys that dont have open beta access. I noticed some increase in performance of the sim with these new drivers. Also the ATI Overdrive is fixed. Works like a charm.. I still can not use my crossfire as it puts my FPS into the teens. Without the crossfire enabled I get 30fps to 40fps. mikecaro Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 With that driver version all building are black in DCS a-10 beta 3?? Mike Home built W7 64 bit, i7 920, 12 GB corsair RAM, 1tb black caviar, 300gig velociraptor, ATI5870.
SonofEil Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 With that driver version all building are black in DCS a-10 beta 3?? I would actually have black buildings from time to time with my old drivers. My problem is that I just updated to 10.11 and it's reduced my usable screen area by a couple of inches. I now have black bars around the screen, sort of like letterbox, but on all four sides. All of my display setting are still properly set, so I don't know why this is. I contacted AMD and they said to revert back to an older driver, specifically 10.5, because "it's the most stable." "Customers have been having a lot of problems with 10.11" is what they told me. Has anyone else had the reduced screen area problem? Anyone know of any fixes besides driver rollback? win7-64 i975@3.33 8GBRAM ATI4850 i7 7700K @5.0, 1080Ti, 32GB DDR4, HMD Odyssey, TM WH, Crosswind Rudder...
Le0kong Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Have you checked in the Catalyst control panel > 'desktops and displays' , if the "underscan/overscan" option set to 0, or the GPU scalling option is set? SonofEil Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Have you checked in the Catalyst control panel > 'desktops and displays' , if the "underscan/overscan" option set to 0, or the GPU scalling option is set? Hmm. I just double-checked I don't have an u/o scan option, or a GPU scaling option in my Catalyst Control Center. I right-click my desktop and open CCC, then Advanced > Desktop&Displays > Desktop Properties, but my only options are Desktop Area (properly set at 1080p), Color Quality (High 32-bit), Refresh Rate (60Hz), and Rotation (Landscape). Am I looking in the right place? i7 7700K @5.0, 1080Ti, 32GB DDR4, HMD Odyssey, TM WH, Crosswind Rudder...

SonofEil Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 That was the problem! I was clicking the big display triangle, not the little display triangle. I was scaled to 7.5%, now 0% and problem solved! Thanks a million! (One would think that ATI support would have been more helpful, instead of "Oh, sorry, our drivers are unstable, you should reinstall last years driver!)
