YET again i cant fly my sim as again star force keeps asking for right time and hardware COMPUTER CHANGE ECT ECT ...load of rubbish .so what I want to put in on another computer.. I bought the dam thing ...

1. i have the DVD bought with my money

2. i have a CD-key that came with the DVD

3 star force again don't recognize my CD-key

4.yet again email for new key , new key don't work .now asking for hardware key..jee all i want to do is fly this thing ...:pilotfly:.please tell me this isnt on A10 WARTHOG

what happened to the days when you bought a computer game and it worked out of the box ..and you could put it on a computer ..and play it ...oh please don't say piracy..because we all know that don't work either the wizz kids of today can knock a crack up for any game ..

Just to get things straight here, you are talking about BS right? I had a right carry on with LOMAC on Vista/Win7, but FC2, BS and A-10 dont use that same starforce system AFAIK.

As with anything in today's world. The security implementations only make it more difficult for legitimate users.

 

Did you uninstall? I thought that was required so it could be reinstalled without issue.

already contacted support and yes this is for black shark ..this is the second key ive had ..since owning black shark DVD and downloaded rus.ver....so what if i want to upgrade my computer or put it on a laptop ..shouldn't stop me flying ...hardware and time changes ..never heard of it ...because im not in the uk time scale ...just a quick one when they sent new key is there a time scale to activate it ..as the email is a month old ...sorry been busy with work ..just a thought

I'd like to echo that I found activation to be a major pain as well. I've changed hardware multiple times (CPU upgrade, GPU upgrade) and am down multiple activations as a result. Yes, I should unactivate it. No, I don't remember to go unactivate all my copy-protected programs before upgrading. This is irritating and a major limitation to legit users.

 

And the thing is, I pirated BS before buying it. I wanted to make sure it would run on my computer, so I downloaded, installed and tried it out. Then I hopped online, bought a legit copy and uninstalled the pirate. So the protection doesn't really work anyway. If I ever reach the point where I'm out of activations, I'll have to go right back to pirated copies.

 

There has GOT to be a better way than this.

my new cdkey they sent me was for the russian version DL..i hope they send new one for english version as i dont have the DVD here ..this is the error messages i am getting any ideas ..and yes ive set the timings back to normal ..many times now ..

 

1./ The Activation Key is not valid any more due to significant changes of the computer hardware configuration. Press "Retry" to reactivate the application.

If the error recurs, press "Error report" and send the report to product technical support.

 

2./ Activation denied by server. Incorrect system time settings. Make sure the time settings of your computer are correct and then try to activate the application again.

Con. contact ED support again direct rather than waiting for them to come accross your post. believe me, they will help you out. There is no clandestine serial number / cd key hoax goin on mate, they will help you.
