You can just load preset frequencies for all three radios ( VHF1, UHF, VHF2) Just set the preset wheel to whatever number preset, dial in your frequency, depress load and that frequency is on preset 1 or whatever. For the UHF panel the load button is under a cover you have to open up.

Where are radio freqs entered in the mission designer?

I think that's still WIP

Most aircraft would have the preset frequencies already set to something sensible like

1) Ground

2) Tower

3) Radar

4) Approach

5) Air to Air

6) etc

 

Would be useful if these were already set at mission start and according to which airfield you started off at.
