rearming and getting repaired

Rearm, Land at your base or a friendly base, stop and press the menu button which is \ if you have FC2, go to the maintenance menu

 

Repair, Land at base or a friendly base, shut your engines down and wait about 3 minutes. Once you are repaired your canopy with open.

what do you go to to rearm cause I don't see rearming in the list

Maintenance is not on the list,do you have to be parked somewhere in particular.I don't know much about the game,I got it for my dad for christmas cause he liked blackshark and fell in love with lock on.

Rearm/repair proceedure only applies to FC2. I haven't touched the original LOMAC in years but I am fairly certain that there's no similar proceedure in it.

spool down and leave your canopy closed

hit ctrl+W to rearm

hold ctrl+R to refuel (could be alt+R check your controls in options)

wait until your canopy opens (3mins) for reapir.

When your jet is repair it will open by itself, unless you broke the landing gear. You must wait about 3 minutes.

Flying FC2:

Besides having to land and only then find out if you will or will not be re-armed or re-fueled...is there a way to determine this while in the air, if a particular base will re-arm/re-fuel. I understand only friendly bases will do that. But how do you determine the side of all the bases while flying around. Can you call into a base and get this info?

In the unlikely event that he is not repaired after spooling down and waiting for 3 min or more, you would have to exit the mission and get a new aircraft, hence my 'request a new aircraft' comment.

 

Again - ensure the engines are spooled down, otherwise no repair.

I would as a matter of course just depart the active and park up anywhere on the Apron or where you spawned, although I'm sure you'll get repaired if you spool down on the RW too.

 

Good habit however to depart the RW as soon as possible, especially online. Swore many a time in my Toad.......not easy to dodge obstacles at 250km/h+ with a chute that failed, but that's another story.
