INU Fix points in patch 1.02 removed?

has placing of INU Fix Points been removed form Patch 1.02?

 

To reproduce:

1. Start Black shark.

2. Open the mission editor

3. Select, or create a new mission

4. Place a Ka-50 on the map, then by clicking select it.

5. Now click on the righthand litte triangle thingy, INU FIX POINT.

6. Now click on the map to add an INU FIX POINT. Doesnt work :cry:.

 

Aforementioned doesnt work in LOFC2 either. However, surprise surprise does work in DCS: A-10C :doh:.

Good point. Then again... there's the good old "What if?" scenario. :-)

 

Let's just assume it could get misaligned, so in order to prepare for that, one might want to create a simple INU re-align mission. And to accomplish that... it would be somewhat essential to be able to place INU fix points in the ME. :-)

 

I just created a new mission and, again, was unable to add any INU fix points.

 

Do you have any advice? Am I missing something obvious when trying to create fix points in a new mission?

You are going to have to unzip the miz file and edit the mission file in Notepad and add the INU Fix-points

 

Check out my work-around in my blog-entry about this - You'll have to high-light the Code as the background is Blue

 

Back to the Bug - The bug is in the Mission Editor Interface not allowing you to ADD points - once the code is in the mission.file, you can edit the INU Fix-points to your heart's contents

I've posted a possible workaround over at mission editor with inu points!

 

I think it's best to continue the discussion over there, because this current thread is somewhat redundant.
