Bee_Sting Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 the intel dual core 15-680 3.6 is good for dcs products! just make sure you put in 6g's of ram and a good graphic card(ati series 57 or 58 )( nivida 250gtx or higher). that's just my thought!
Succellus Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Both are more than good enought for Lock on. Video wise, maintain ATI/AMD - INTEL/NVIDEA pair is possible. 4gb of ram or highger if you have 64b OS. As Video 460 GTX, 68XX, above is very good Remember a computer goes as fast as his weakest component, so its a loss of money to overkill one part. HaF 922, Asus rampage extreme 3 gene, I7 950 with Noctua D14, MSI gtx 460 hawk, G skill 1600 8gb, 1.5 giga samsung HD. Track IR 5, Hall sensed Cougar, Hall sensed TM RCS TM Warthog(2283), TM MFD, Saitek pro combat rudder, Cougar MFD.
hannibal Posted December 17, 2010 Author Posted December 17, 2010 How about these CPUs for DCS A-10C??? find me on steam! username: Hannibal_A101A http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197969447179
Bee_Sting Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 (edited) they are both really good for any dcs product that is out right now! succellus is right!(ATI/AMD - INTEL/NVIDEA pair is possible). if you are going to have a high end CPU you must have a high end graphic card to go with it! remember that FC2 and Dcs Blackshark are single threaded games, they depend on the cpu,but really can't use multicore systems. dcs a-10c will run fine with the 2 cpu's that you are thinking about buying. MTFDarkEagle Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 I would wait untill the new Sandybridge CPU's be released, then you decide. That's what I'm doing in any case. I'm gonna upgrade as well in the nearby future (to intel platform). I would upgrade now, but Intel is about to release their sandybridge cpu's, so I'm going to wait for that. Just my 2 cents ;) Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
hannibal Posted December 18, 2010 Author Posted December 18, 2010 when sandy bridge will be released, maybe the intel chips price will drop.. and i will just try to catch that... find me on steam! username: Hannibal_A101A http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197969447179
