BKLronin Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Does anybody know what the 5 vertical leds on the Warthog throttle do? :book: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

BKLronin Posted January 5, 2011 Author Posted January 5, 2011 Well they better do something or they get cut out immediately. At least what can 5 leds do? Fuel Display? Lifetime indicator of the throttle? Alcohol lvl of the pilot? light up? What a mystery! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
=Panther= Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Well they better do something or they get cut out immediately They'll be user programmable in a later release of TARGET. topdog Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 They also sometimes choose to light up in sequence and then go out again when the device fires up (receives power / driver connectivity), so may operate as a kind of baby-POST or at least get tested themselves at some point. I've been waiting anxiously for the user-programmable bit though, and I'd say the MFD's would be a lot more attractive to me if they too were programmable (on the LEDs) beyond a pre-set and static 'ID' setting. BKLronin Posted January 5, 2011 Author Posted January 5, 2011 Thats good but I still can´t imagine how it can be useful except fuel. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Slammin Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Fuel indicator, cannon ammo or flares level indicator, external lighting indicator....... Really, I think they will be useful with A10. Sov13t Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Gears, Flaps, Air-Brake, Radar, ECM indicators for me... once they are programmable. This is of course for FC2 flying. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 51st PVO Regiment | Forum | Statistics DCS: MiG-21Bis
E-Rock Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 The manual says the panel light intensity can be adjusted via TARGET but I can't find that feature anywhere. Is that WIP as well?
