kingpinda Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Because of this thread I went to youtube and watched my favorite SIM: LHX attack chopper lol. EGA. We jumped from a XT 8086 to the 486dx2 so it being ega i must have played it on a 8086 with a 20 MB HD which we stackered to 40 MB. Though because of the HD increase the MHZ was halved from 12 MHZ to 6 irrc rofl. Bugger me... Actually I'm tempted to install dosbox now :p
Ninjaofdoom Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 Man, I played Jetfighter to DEATH back in the day. :D Someday we'll look back on all this and plow into a parked car. i7-930 @ 3.8ghz, 6GB Corsair Dominator 1600, EVGA GTX470, OCZ 60GB SSD, TrackIR 5 Pro, Win7 64 And a 46" LCD at 1920x1080 to enjoy the goodness :joystick: :pilotfly:
Distiler Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 That was a time when everybody with a computer had a flight simulator in his desk. Very nice docu! AMD Ryzen 1400 // 16 GB DDR4 2933Mhz // Nvidia 1060 6GB // W10 64bit // Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2
