Surely that's a good thing (if you can live without HDR)? What are your specs (i.e. what sort of computer and graphics card do you have?). sanc2775 Posted January 25, 2011 Author Posted January 25, 2011 the hd is one of the feature in the configuration graphfics i just turn off
Bulletstop Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Is it the hdr setting in the options menu? I know that does effect my game some times. Let us know. Correct. HDR is fancy lighting that will slow down your game if your graphics card isn't up to it. Bulletstop Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Sanc, It really helps us if you put your comp specs up so we know what hardware you have. If yea notice most of us have our specs in our sigs. I find hdr does hit my frames, but to be honest I love the sun effect so I keep it on. Hell sometimes I want to reach for my visor, lol. Ragtag Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 GT240 is a "low end" card so to speak. Expecting that card to run this game smooth is perhaps a little to much. MTFDarkEagle Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Chill out dude, answers don't come in instantly. Some people actually have work to do :P On subject: maybe it's handy for someone who speaks your language to discuss this further? (i.e.: where are you from?) Henchman14 Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Hey, Sanc. Yeah, thats a very low end video card and its going to have a hard time doing HDR in a complex sim like Warthog. You really just need a better video card. If your playing on a computer with an LCD or LED monitor, your pretty much stuck with your native resolution, and can't make it lower. So, really, your only option is too either switch HDR ( which takes a lot of GPU power) off, or get a better graphics card. Sorry.
159th_Viper Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 any help please Purchase a new Graphics card. If that is not an option, lower all your In-SIM graphics settings except Textures and take it from there, ie raise them incrementally until you get the balance between performance vs looks particular to your computer. Bulletstop Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 The settings I use to give good preformce for me is, textures =medium Civ traffic =off water= low Shadows =medium Vis distance= medium Those seems to effect my system more then other. For instance I still have msaa and hdr on and 1024 res for the mdf's and I get in the low 20's to high 50's in a heavy engagement. I also have win 7 64 and I do not notice any stutters but the frames can drag if I turn up any of the above beyond medium. I hope this helps.
