will we be seeing strike marks on tanks bullet holes or battle damage when hit by the gun ..of the A10C...some tanks take a few passes for you to knock it out..:lol:

The moment you come close enough to see the bullet holes in a tank you strafed is most likely next to the one that you start a short lived career in the field of agriculture.

 

And btw. details are best created top down, not bottom up, so i think priorities lie elsewhere.

imo you would just need a texture map for the holes, not a big of a deal, but it would require some, (maybe alot) of coding, and it would affect FFS definately, so it's not that important in my opinion.

That would be cool, but I've got to agree with Sobek on this one. Maybe one day when we can play a game with ArmA's breadth and DCS simulation depth this will be possible. I think it's a long long way away, and for now concentrating on making one thing brilliant rather than lots of things quite good.

 

It's like why many martial artists are very respectful and wary of boxers. Most other martial arts train a wider variety of techniques. Boxers train almost exclusively in punching, and become incredible at that.
