Your thoughts on the A2A B-17 accusim

Anyone else fly this bird? I have not used FSX so much since I stumbled across A2A. Now I cant get enough of it, I really am starting to like tail draggers and all the challenges they bring and considering getting the Spitfire from them too.

Just wondering if anyone else here flies them :pilotfly:

Sorry for the late reply, I fly the A2A B-17 eith accusim aswell and compared to the basik WOP B-17 it is a milestone and very fun and challenging to fly properly.

:megalol:Got thier spitfire too now =). Its even more of a challenge to fly properly than any aircraft (A-10c exluded) Be warned if you are after a fast Touring aircraft for VFR then the Spit is not for you, I spend more time keeping the engine under control than I do looking at the scenery. Its a real handfull and ive been told thats realistic to the original I I gotta learn to fly it properly :pilotfly:

so do i need fsx to fly the a2a b17?or is it a stand alone game?

It is an add-on to FSX. I don't believe the accleration pack is required, but I may be wrong. Anyone else?

I only respond to that little mechanical voice that says "Terrain! Terrain! Pull Up! Pull Up!"

Does the navigators station come with charts or how does that work on the b377?Its a toss up between the B17 and 377.

If I had to choose I would pick the B-17. It just has so many more features being one of thier later developments. The hanger screen with engine cutaways so you can see whats damaged for instance. The B377 is on my list but I have so much stuff on my "Wanted" list its gonna be awhile hehe. Im really waiting for the P-51 though :pilotfly:
