Mik75 Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 Hi again! Next, I would like to practice some JTAC interaction. Is there an existing simple mission to start with or how can I set up a mission on my own that includes JTAC? Thanks in advance! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Greets, Michael
nomdeplume Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 The "Shooting Gallery" mission that comes with the game has a JTAC to interact with, as well as other things. The attached mission was made by someone else as a quick JTAC test mission. I added some more units to it, there's some AAA but you're well-equipped to deal with them from afar...aa.miz
Mik75 Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 Thanks again for your assistance. Looking forward to flying your attached mission! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Greets, Michael
Mik75 Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 Hi again! I gave the "Shooting Gallery" a try. And so far, my first JTAC worked out quite well. But I still have two questions: When the red triangle appears on the TAD, how can I designate that as my SPI? I can move my TAD cursor over it, but when I hold TMS up, nothing happens. After the first task (shooting 3 tanks with 65D´s) was done, I received another task and a second red triangle came up. I couldn´t convince my TGP to slew to that new position by holding CHINA HAT FWD. But that is probably the case because I didnt´t designat it as SPI, correct? And, how can I get rid of the map in the background of the TAD? Thanks in advance! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Greets, Michael
Mik75 Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 Perfect! That was it, first TMS up click for hooking, then TMS up long for making it SPI! It works! And I found the corresponding OBS on the TAD to turn the map off. Thanks, mate! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Greets, Michael
Sarge55 Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 And, if you want to get rid of the red triangle hit the CANCL OSB (sorry can't recall the number, it's on the right side) otherwise you end up with a clump of them and can't figure which is which. If you want to keep track of the targets though make it a markpoint while it's still SPI and before deleting the triangle, then you can cycle through them later. 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7 10700K OC 5.1GHZ / 500GB SSD & 1TB M:2 & 4TB HDD / MSI Gaming MB / GTX 1080 / 32GB RAM / Win 10 / TrackIR 4 Pro / CH Pedals / TM Warthog

genbrien Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Sorry, I dont want to hijack the topic but, how can weapons be released symetricaly?(without beeing released in pair) I mean, if I have 6 GBU-12, the 3 on the left will drop, making the right wing heavier and create more drag. Is there a way to change that: 3-3 2-3 1-3 0-3 0-2 0-1 0-0 to that: 3-3 2-3 2-2 1-2 1-1 0-1 0-0 Do you think that getting 9 women pregnant will get you a baby in 1 month?[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Mobo: Asus P8P67 deluxe Monitor: Lg 22'' 1920*1080 CPU: i7 2600k@ 4.8Ghz +Zalman CNPS9900 max Keyboard: Logitech G15 GPU:GTX 980 Strix Mouse: Sidewinder X8 PSU: Corsair TX750w Gaming Devices: Saytek X52, TrackIr5 RAM: Mushkin 2x4gb ddr3 9-9-9-24 @1600mhz Case: 690 SSD: Intel X25m 80gb
ED Team BillyCrusher Posted February 20, 2011 ED Team Posted February 20, 2011 Sorry, I dont want to hijack the topic but, how can weapons be released symetricaly?(without beeing released in pair) You need select weapon station manually via DSMS STAT page for it. Example: select weap.st #3 - release bomb - select weap.st. # 9 - release, etc. "You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.” ― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince.

I tought that there was a way when a weapon's group was selected, but it should not take too mutch extra time selecting it manually. At worse I can trimm it like mad, but I'm on the lazy side :music_whistling::megalol: Do you think that getting 9 women pregnant will get you a baby in 1 month?[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Mobo: Asus P8P67 deluxe Monitor: Lg 22'' 1920*1080 CPU: i7 2600k@ 4.8Ghz +Zalman CNPS9900 max Keyboard: Logitech G15 GPU:GTX 980 Strix Mouse: Sidewinder X8 PSU: Corsair TX750w Gaming Devices: Saytek X52, TrackIr5 RAM: Mushkin 2x4gb ddr3 9-9-9-24 @1600mhz Case: 690 SSD: Intel X25m 80gb
