MadTommy Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 (edited) Is it possible to get Windows 7 to use 2 keyboards, where each keyboard can have separate set of inputs associated with it? I know i can use 2 keyboards.. but can i assign different functions to different ones? I have a wireless one collecting dust that i would love to use for CDU inputs and the like while keeping my main one for all the default commands and regular inputs. I doubt this is possible.. but there might be some hack or app that can make it work. :helpsmilie: Edited February 25, 2011 by MadTommy typo i5-3570K @ 4.5 Ghz, Asus P8Z77-V, 8 GB DDR3, 1.5GB GTX 480 (EVGA, superclocked), SSD, 2 x 1680x1050, x-fi extreme music. Silent Warrior Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Hm... Don't know about Windows... but DCS could possibly manage something like it. Can you check? (With both keyboards connected, start DCS:[x], set control inputs for CDU-operations to use keys on the other keyboard.)

Kuky Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I tried this not long ago and found with 2 regular keyboards you can't separate them to assign different key commands... each is seen as keyboard and both will use same keyboard.lua No longer active in DCS...
Cali Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I have 2 USB keyboards now, and they act as one, just like Kuky said. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED
