Is it possible to get Windows 7 to use 2 keyboards, where each keyboard can have separate set of inputs associated with it? I know i can use 2 keyboards.. but can i assign different functions to different ones?

I have a wireless one collecting dust that i would love to use for CDU inputs and the like while keeping my main one for all the default commands and regular inputs.

I doubt this is possible.. but there might be some hack or app that can make it work.

Hm... Don't know about Windows... but DCS could possibly manage something like it. Can you check? (With both keyboards connected, start DCS:[x], set control inputs for CDU-operations to use keys on the other keyboard.)

I tried this not long ago and found with 2 regular keyboards you can't separate them to assign different key commands... each is seen as keyboard and both will use same keyboard.lua

I have 2 USB keyboards now, and they act as one, just like Kuky said.

Are you using HID macro? Because if you are not or something similar then yes they will of course act the same.
