yonyz Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Hi, I have seen wind conditions mentioned in regard to take off and landing in the Black Shark manual and in forum posts, but I haven't seen anything about what it actually means, and how the pilot is supposed to know that information regarding wind condition. So... Care to explain?
DTWD Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 You set up weather in the mission editor. ATC will also tell you about wind when you communicate with them for landing. Regards [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
KeyCat Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) Also keep an eye on the vind wane on the Ka-50's nose. /KC Edited February 28, 2011 by KeyCat
Napa Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 ATC can provide you with wind conditions. But IMO I think its better to learn to trust your guts.
