Pilot Speed 3

Sorry but I can run faster than 3MPH even after an ejection probably unless injured :) Can we get the pilot to be able to move faster than 3?? Maybe a sprint or something? :) Even a jog would be cool.

 

We were doing a big mission online last night and there were some really hard to find sams and AAA that were perfectly disguised in the terrain. They would wait until we had already passed over them before they'd light you up. The main force was further up and I think these guys were hidden in a town.

 

So I got shot down directly over them and ejected. So I was walking around trying to find them and stumbled upon my blown off wing in the field! Thought that was pretty cool, but took me forever to get there!!

 

I was hoping I could radio back to the other guys online (through teamspeak) specifically where it was.

 

Its just too slow walking around.

 

I guess you can get into some of the vehicles I'd love to hijaack a t72 or something :)

Too bad there isn't a second seat in the A-10..Otherwise another pilot could have landed and picked you up and back to the base! Anyway I don't know if an A-10 can land other than on a runway?

 

By the way I'm looking for a video on Youtube showing the pilot walking after ejection. Do you have any link?

Walking around with the pilot isn't actually a "feature". It's an easter egg. I suspect that it'll only get tweaked if whichever programmer snuck it in there decides to have fun with it again. ;)

So you want suvivor training after ejection sequence? Bunch of bearded man with Aks searching for you with hopes to plaster videos of you on Algazira(sp?) news channel...

Last night I had a farmer with pitchforks come up to my plane after I landed the burning hulk safely in a wheat field.

 

At least I could have shot back.. now I'm a shishkabob

I trully believe DCS will one day create a tank or similar ground fighting vehicle sim. Look at their logo, what makes you think it's gonna be airborne crafts only? ;)

Speaking of ejections, once in beta 4, I ejected and landed near a UAZ, so I got in to drive back home, but as soon as I got inside, enemy units started shooting at me.

It's funny how if you walk around them, they do nothing, you have to be inside a vehicle to be considered as an enemy :D.

 

I tried recreating this situation, here's a track, feel free to fast forward with ctrl Z and return to normal speed with shift Z

Is necessary pilot can walk faster or slow?, get pistol o banana? When you is ejected, mission is over, this is not ArmA, ED team not need use time and money for program one feature is not useful for nothing.

Other features is most important improve than walking pilot.
