I'm looking to reformat my PC with Windows 7 64Bit over the weekend, I run a 64Gig SSD as my primary and a 1Tb 7200RPM drive for data.

So I will need to take a copy of my user profile off the C drive, but the remainder of the data is installed on the D drive.

Has anyone been through this scenario? Any ideas if the data on the D drive needs to be backed up, or should I be good to just flatten the C drive with the install CD and have the data on the D drive will stay there happily?

Short update no affect to the data drives, all went smoothly. Still some apps to reinstall, but now have an extra 6 Gig of Ram up my sleeve
