i was wondering if you can change the FOV in BS to have a better view of the battle field. i don't have a head tracking system,so changing the FOV in the game files would benefit me!

you are missing my point! i should be able to go to a file and change the FOV. right now you see about 30deg but i wanna see 90deg. so when the game starts you can see more but editing a file in the games files itself

Look in your view lua file for this line,

CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iKA_50] = {20.0, 120.0}

First is zoom in view and second is zoom out view.

Apologies, I didn't read your post properly. Try editing Line 951 in \\Config\View\snapviewsdefault.lua or Line 940 in snapviews.lua

These are the zoom limits rather than the default zoom.

I think he is looking for a way to prevent the sim from starting in the zoomed in view. The parameters for both of these lines 940 and 951 are already at approx 90.

For warthog look at Line 1059 of \\Config\View\snapviewsdefault.lua I think or 1048 of \\Config\View\snapviews.lua.

Remember you MUST use Notepad++ or you risk corrupting the files.

Great! Thank you.:joystick:
