How about we get some solid data of which DCS aircraft seems most likely to be next? Instead of 130 pages of "Oh I want to see the Crop Duster", some solid numbers will tell the story.

OPTIONS:

F-15C

F-15E

F-16

F/A-18

F-22

Not another clone thread pleeease  If every new member starts a "next dcs aircraft" thread it will be catastrophic...

yes shornet, and yes there is enough info to produce a good quality DCS module, contrary to some beliefs and you don't need a military contract to have access to it. Some guesses yes but can get extremely close to RL. I would say 95% is available with a little guess work on the other 5 and that can be guessed pretty damn close. There will always be that part, as no one will get all info, even on older aircraft. So lets see S HORNET.:)

I'm very well aware of the other thread, but that one was extremely limited, with some choices that weren't very realistic. So I made this one to more accurately reflect the availible possibilities

Ok, time for a new thread then, you left out the F-35, EA-6, and Harrier. :smilewink:

And the C-130 and C-17 and KC-135 and the cropduster and the Tomcat and the flying house from Up

Let me get this straight - you think a DCS level representation of the F-22 is a realistic possibility?! :D

NO it is rather nieve at this point to think you could do a DCS module. Not same for F-18E though.:)

I am glad not only I think that...

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

I do somewhat agree. I feel that with rumors of an American a/c as the next module, might have touched this off again(could be wrong). It has been said however that it would most likely not be the F-18E, mainly because it is a new version of the F18 and maybe ED has no military contract forthcoming to do it justice as an DCS module. I believe on the other hand that there is enough information available to do a very good representation of that aircraft. I don't think I am alone. Sure there might need to be a little guess work involved but not enough to count it out as a DCS module.IMHO:)

I don't think so rattler - I think an F-18C would be a better bet.

But then I don't really believe in a Hornet module for the forseeable future for other reasons - IMHO not much point in doing a Hornet without also attending to the environment in which is was designed to operate.

Yes I might agree with that for sure. I just think that there is still enough info to take that one extra step to the F-18E. That said I sure would not turn down the C model.

"the other" thread? There are OTHERS, numerous, countless clone threads in different parts of the forums.

Redundant thread, so I'm closing this.

Don't start duplicate threads.
