wholehawg Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 (edited) Hello everyone. I am a DCS mission building noob, looking for some advice. I did a few searches on this topic and didn't have much luck so I though I would post this in the hopes someone might know the answer. Is there a mission/event log generated from a multiplayer session? The reason I ask is, I wanted to create a "manual" dynamic campaign of sorts. i.e. I have a database of units for both factions, then create a series of missions with those units until a defined endpoint is reached. If there were a log of some sort it would greatly help in the tracking of attrition of units over the course of several missions. Maybe one could even parse the logs into a MySQL DB and create something like IL2 has with S.E.O.W.?? Probably not, but it would be cool. :pilotfly: Edited April 7, 2011 by wholehawg

Ripcord Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 (edited) Interesting. This lists all the events and flags from the previous mission, it appears. So we could, in fact, build a template that allows for damage tracking of certain units by using this debrief data. Of course the mission/campaign builder would need to learn how to make the ME refer to this debrief log at the start of each mission. I will need to experiment a bit with that to see how that works. Do the trigger conditions allow for that? Ripcord Edited May 15, 2011 by Ripcord [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
