Nu-NRG
Iam away from pc but no Iam not running beta and I don't have E drive when I get home I'll check For files left by beta thanks for reply Seanie Probably the safest bet but sorta dirty way would be to check on registry key for A-10C and modify it. I suspect that is causing it :D Aviate - Navigate - Communicate

C6_Hellfrog
Hi all, I followed all touchscreen threads from touchbuddy beginnings... to Touchpal and then Helios, to finish with this last soft. I had no much free time last weeks to follow HawgTouch subject... and it is very recent indeed ! I just read the whole thread tonight... And after that, I had a dream... With Helios coming free and the brilliant talents of both Gadroc and ClearDark... I am wondering if we could, on middle to long term finish with one universal product... elaborated with all people contributing and interested in this subject... because on last considerations, there is not so much people contributing and competent with those sort of things... working alltogether is best than competing each one on his own... maybe could divide work load and accelerate developpement and various sims support... maybe some time is needed to achieve such goal yes the road is not well known, and collective work is not easy, yes many GNU projects have some difficulties to born and complete... but opportunity exists, it is up to people working on it to evaluate that, and to forum readers to manifest their support on such idea... it was my utopist contribution of the nigth...but Utopia has that interest : it is a potentiality that may become reality, it is up to anyone to push on that direction... ClearDark
Well, I would like to see folks work together... although Helios at the current state can do anything you need it to. The big thing that we need is a utopia of Art work, meaning new switches, Black shark panels, better A-10 Art work, etc... I understand Cleardark is working on his code skills , but working together would greatly benefit the community. I have never ruled out the possibility of working together. I think Helios changing the licensing model is a great thing and once the SDK and all the kits come out we'll see how things go :)

shu77
Hey Cleardark, Got this working today on the second PC, excellent, excellent product, I was very happy to be able to actually see what the gauges were doing without having to try and position the TRACKIR on the main screen. I would suggest if I could that you place the comment about needing to unblock the Guage .dll on the first post, as it took me several pages of reading to find that and I suspect its a Windows 7 thing so will affect a bunch of us. I have attached an updated version of your 1.3 profile which places the engine gauges in the same sequence as the actual plane and will post in the morning my profile and images for a working Caution panel, which was very cool to get running, as its another one of those things that I personally find hard to read. Im looking forward to getting the HSI working in the morning too.engines.zip Hornet, Super Carrier, Warthog & (II), Mustang, Spitfire, Albatross, Sabre, Combined Arms, FC3, Nevada, Gulf, Normandy, Syria AH-6J i9 10900K @ 5.0GHz, Gigabyte Z490 Vision G, Cooler Master ML120L, Gigabyte RTX3080 OC Gaming 10Gb, 64GB RAM, Reverb G2 @ 2480x2428, TM Warthog, Saitek pedals & throttle, DIY collective, TrackIR4, Cougar MFDs, vx3276-2k Combat Wombat's Airfield & Enroute Maps and Planning Tools

But post up your profile for us :D I have fixed the engine gauge panel in 1.4. Load up 1.3 Features and you will see 2 tabs. Flight Instruments and Engine Instruments Enjoy! shu77
OK Here you go, have resized your gaugepanel.png, and added in the other gauges from 1.4 that were relevant to me. Had to unblock the DLL again in this release to get it to work (darn Windows) The caution images aren't the best, but at least give a basis for the code.hawgtouch.zip Hornet, Super Carrier, Warthog & (II), Mustang, Spitfire, Albatross, Sabre, Combined Arms, FC3, Nevada, Gulf, Normandy, Syria AH-6J i9 10900K @ 5.0GHz, Gigabyte Z490 Vision G, Cooler Master ML120L, Gigabyte RTX3080 OC Gaming 10Gb, 64GB RAM, Reverb G2 @ 2480x2428, TM Warthog, Saitek pedals & throttle, DIY collective, TrackIR4, Cougar MFDs, vx3276-2k Combat Wombat's Airfield & Enroute Maps and Planning Tools
shu77
Hey also in terms of functionality suggestions, maybe its the 22" main screen or the stability of my TRACK IR, bu I find working with the small main panels to be the hardest, so things like the radios and the ILS/TACAN. Have you given any thought to being able to tranmit key presses over the network? you would need a server app for this I guess, but it would avoid having to try and run HT in concert Touchbuddy. I suppose thats what Helios does at this point, but I quite like your app :) Hornet, Super Carrier, Warthog & (II), Mustang, Spitfire, Albatross, Sabre, Combined Arms, FC3, Nevada, Gulf, Normandy, Syria AH-6J i9 10900K @ 5.0GHz, Gigabyte Z490 Vision G, Cooler Master ML120L, Gigabyte RTX3080 OC Gaming 10Gb, 64GB RAM, Reverb G2 @ 2480x2428, TM Warthog, Saitek pedals & throttle, DIY collective, TrackIR4, Cougar MFDs, vx3276-2k Combat Wombat's Airfield & Enroute Maps and Planning Tools

Xxx
Great work! I have read the whole set of posts. I would like to add the MFCD's and CDU on to a 22" touchscreen. ( For a start!) Will there be an instruction manual how to do this? Or in my case a manual for Dummies! :helpsmilie: I can fly a sim, but I am not very good at this sort of thing:cry: If you could add a GUI, I would gladly pay for such a superb enhancement. Thanks for your dedication to enhancing this wonderful sim! To export your MFCDs. Go to this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=69555 Its the first HawgTouch thread. First post explains thoroughly how to export MFCDs to external monitor. Then, Download HT 1.4. Load it up and select the ShowcaseProfile. Load that and hit the 2nd tab (MFCDs + UFC). That should do it! You will have to also set up your keys. Instructions can be found at the thread link I posted above!

I plan to divert engine dials to HT running on laptop :D Thanks go to MadTommy for MFCD bezel images and ClearDark for HawgTouch Will post profile(s) when I'm done :D Oh, the way I imagine the idea in my head and for this to work, will be for ClearDark to help me out on how to make HT capture data on TWO PC's at the same time :P PS: What better to do when you wait for 8x2TB drives to finish synching in RAID 6 for the first time :P Edited April 17, 2011 by Nu-NRG Aviate - Navigate - Communicate
