Mallachar Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 So I bought DCS: Blackshark back in the day, and I want to pick up A-10C Warthog, and I was just wondering, is there any place where I can get it at a discount because I already own BS, or will I be paying the full 60 bucks for it no matter what?
Irregular programming Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 BS and A-10 are 2 different full games. Just part of the same series which might at some time be able to play online together.
Nate--IRL-- Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Still the full price, sorry. However, you will get a patch for Black shark that includes the all of the upgrades in DCS:-Warthog (Except the A-10 :) ) for free. Mallachar Posted April 14, 2011 Author Posted April 14, 2011 Ah, I see, was just curious because I was wondering if there was some system like what ArmA 2 did, where its a stand alone expansion kind of scenario and if maybe if there was a cheaper alternative than spending the 60 bucks (which seems steep for a PC game to me). Thanks anyways.
Kaiza Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 It will seem cheap once you start playing them. [url=http://www.aef-hq.com.au/aef4/forumdisplay.php?262-Digital-Combat-Simulator][SIGPIC]http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/2500/a10161sqnsignitureedite.png[/SIGPIC][/url]
Evader Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 When you start flying the A-10, you will feel guilty for stealing this study sim for $60
Zomba Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 $60 steep? Average PC game here in Australia is between $80 and $100. I thought it was too cheap. 1 I don't test for bugs, but when I do I do it in production.

FZG_Immel Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 ok, so this patch isnt available yet, right ? no HDR hurt my eyes in black shark ;) [sIGPIC]https://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic70550_3.gif[/sIGPIC] Asus Z390-H - SSD M.2 EVO 970 - Intel I9 @5.0ghz - 32gb DDR4 4000 - EVGA 3090 - Cougar FSSB + Virpil WRBRD + Hornet Stick - Thrustmaster TPR Pedal + WinWing MIP + Orion + TO and CO pannels - Track IR5
Scarecrow Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 ok, so this patch isnt available yet, right ? no HDR hurt my eyes in black shark ;) No patch yet, hasn't even been announced as in development, maybe after 1.1.0.8. But who knows when they'll stop packing in goodies, 0.8 has surround sound what will they think of next! As to the question of price cuts for customer loyalty, thats only beneficial if you have competition offering a simliar product. When you're the only supplier you can name your price. One of these sims will last 100 times longer on your HDD than any other "game" so it's still great bang for your buck.
