Boulund Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I guess it serves a similar purpose to the supposedly "secret" lunch boxes in the Swedish Gripens :). Though the cord in the A-10C is multi-function as opposed to the lunch boxes:lol:. kungfoo Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 This was the first thing that I wondered about when I looked around the pit using TrackIR for the very first time. :D I was like, WTF, is this holding together something important? Can't be that. Thanks for clearing that up.
MTFDarkEagle Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Here you can see it: There is a more clear picture somewhere on the forum as I remember, but I can't find it :P Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread

bradleyjs Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 (edited) This isn't really on topic but it is a must see: I've seen many A-10 demos for years at various airshows that I've attended - and the flight profile is pretty much the same each time... Because it has to be the same. Pilots have a manual that tells them exactly what maneuvers he is suppose to do in a Demo. http://www.e-publishing.af.mil/shared/media/epubs/AFI11-246V1.pdf To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
