didn't save the track--unless--do I recall some feature that automatically saves last mission track--somewhere in a temp folder or something?

EDIT: Here's a track from the other day, where I was stuck in the grass--same phenomenon.

I am a lawn care guy. Lawn dart, that is ;)

Look at the youtube video--you'll see in that instance, I'm on the tarmac.

no new rudders--didn't change anything, as I just flew another mission--brakes work correctly. Question: at full throttle--and brakes applied--will they stop the aircraft from moving?

hmmm haven't tried it TBH.. not for testing that exact thing.. It will hold it back for a short few seconds, though.

Where MTF & I were going is basically- review your brakes axis'. Make sure they are where they're supposed to be, and confirm that the "invert" box is checked in the axis tune.

Why it would change if you didn't muck with it is beyond me- this is mainly the "verify the simplest things first" approach to diagnostics..

I was studying the CDU for 30 minutes or so, on the ramp with all systems up and running. I then tried to taxi, but even at full throttle, could not move. Any ideas?

I had that once on one of the Betas; it was a ramp start, in a hanger, started her up, applied throttle, nothing. The Hog did dip forward as if brakes were applied but I hadn't recently changed key assignments or anything. A quick restart sorted it out, not had it again since.

I doubt it could for long... but at any rate BBQ- does this behavior recur in a different mission (and/ or after a restart?)

Or in the same mission for that matter- but this time- just get the plane into a state where taxiing is possible..

Then.. I don't see what your controller is.. the next part is probably to confirm that the controller is responding correctly in a test screen- either windows control panel or within the stick's software...

In the stuck.trk he posted, I brought up the input control overlay with ctrl-enter and it seems like his brakes were working right in that mission (although he got stuck in the grass :) ). I was wondering if the brakes were sticking at the beginning of a mission or something, but It didn't show it with the overlay. If he hasn't changed any hardware it may not be any brake problem.

At full thrust you can overpower the brakes on smooth, hard surfaces. Try different parking spots. Back in Beta3 or so there were still plenty of HASs that had dirt terrain for floors and you'd never be able to move out of them.

There are still plenty of "gray dirt" patches out there that will look taxi-able but grab you like quicksand.

Well, could this be that once you had the engines up and running you started creeping forward slowly, unbeknownst to you? Ever since patch 1.1.0.7, I will start creeping forward after the engiges are started. I usually have to apply brakes, move the throttle forward a bit, and then pull it very hard back to make sure there is no power whatever being applied.

Was this a night mission? If so, such a thing would be easy to miss. Anyway, while you were taking 30 minutes to get set up, basically, you could have creeped forward into the grass and gotten stuck. I've seen this particular thing happen before.

I've been gettting stuck as well, while exploring some bases on wheels. Optically I will be on tarmac, but my wheels will sink in, and I will get stuck. Very odd.
