Boberro Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Most pics I know but there are 2 of them I've never seen yet. Thanks :) Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
Vekkinho Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 What? They've added an extra seat to that Su-39 #21?!! I guess some of the electronics suite had to be removed? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Renato71 Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 More like "added", then "removed". That is Su-25UB upgraded to Su-25UBM. Bort number "21" may be the same as the one from Su-39, but it has nothing to do with Su-25T/TM/39 line. The diff is not only in the second seat, but the complete nose and tail section. I'm selling MiG-21 activation key. Also selling Suncom F-15E Talon HOTAS with MIDI connectors, several sets. Contact via PM.
eurofor Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Beautiful. The Su-25 has a very special place in my heart. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Boberro Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 how many su-25t are in service? About 8 TM as far I know. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
Renato71 Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 About 8 TM as far I know. But, where are they? I haven't seen fresh photo - especially several of them in one shot - since.... Ehm, since FC1 come out? And where is the one from Ethiopian AF? Still no pics?!? This aircraft comes to be bigger secret then J-20 :music_whistling: I'm selling MiG-21 activation key. Boberro Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 I am not completely sure in what year exactly but perhaps up to 2005 or 2006 all T have been upgraded to TM standard and they're used also as test platform for Su-25SM avionics. It's not mystery, just very small numbers of them, it is easier to hide up to 10 planes than 100 :P Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
Vekkinho Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 T modification was abandoned while Su-25TM (Su-39) entered producion. Total of 11 Su-25T were built (3 prototypes during '80s and 8 production aircraft in 1990/91). Total of 8 fresh Su-39 was built and 8 Ts got converted to TM but production ceased with introduction of Su-25SM, first time active in Ossetia/Abkhazia war in 2008. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Vekkinho Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 It's important to note that all Soviet Su-25 and Su-25K were built in Factory 31, Tbilisi Georgia. UB versions (two seaters were built in Ulan Ude). Today Russia only makes modifications of existing airframes. Latest and most numerous Su-25 version is Su-25SM. These are old airframes built during USSR days that got their engines refurbished and replaced with lots of avionics and electronics adopted and upgraded from T and TM programme. Today there's aproximately 30 of Su-25SM in use with Russian airforce. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
