dblkion Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 (edited) Hi, I just got this cheap HOTAS to start flying to A-10C without ruining myself, but sadly I can't get the throttle handle slider to be recognized in-game. It is working on windows tho. Anyone can help ? Thanks alot. Cibit Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 If you can assign buttons to it at the end of each direction of travel. Map B and N and then map the speed brakes to it. IE B= open speedbrakes N=close speedbrakes. Hope this helps:) i5 8600k@5.2Ghz, Asus Prime A Z370, 32Gb DDR4 3000, GTX1080 SC, Oculus Rift CV1, Modded TM Warthog Modded X52 Collective, Jetseat, W10 Pro 64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Adding JTAC Guide //My Vid's//229th AHB
dblkion Posted May 8, 2011 Author Posted May 8, 2011 Hi, thanks for the replies. For a reason I don't understand, When I take a screenshot it shows whats behind the game window -.- @ Cibit, well the game seems to not recongize the slider of the hotas, don't know why as windows do it fine..
fael097 Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 i have this stick, and its fine, just have to assign the axis in game. dblkion Posted May 8, 2011 Author Posted May 8, 2011 Well I highlight "throttle both" assigned as joy slider1 I click "axis tune", A window opens and there when I slide the hotas up or down nothing happens.
BigBANGtheory Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 delete the current axis assignment, then add a new one and move your throttle the see which axis the game recognises. I had the same problem on an old Saitek Cyborg Evo but got the throttle to work using this method as the game didn't recognise it by default.
