In real life you have approach plates for all airports you can reasonably expect to use. In them you find all the information you need. I think sources for the plates have been suggested in this forum. Don't despair, you do not have the information a real pilot would need (and have) so it is not surprising that the learning curve appears impossibly steep at times. :)

Yep - make sure your mfd is showing the CDU, click Funct then 3 on the UFC, click divert on the CDU and then click the airport you are going to land at. All relevant info can be found there.

Don't you mean FUNC + 2? Maybe you can do it both ways, never tried using 3. If you decide you no longer want to divert and want your original flight plan back then just press FUNC + 7.

I normally get the ILS info off the CDU by going via the divert page when inbound to land.

ok, great, i found ILS data. but how about my own ID and group ID? i cant see it on briefing. is it really needed or it's always the same?

edit: actually i didnt find it on CDU divert. something like 108.0/3 (not sure) appeared next to vazini, and i saw on the chart that vazini's ils is actually 108.75. can i have better instructions please?

thanks

In single-player and campaigns your net ID should be set to 01 and 01. You access it from the TAD by pressing the OSB next to the word NET. It resets after takeoff so it's best to set this after taking off, it's vital to set this if you want to receive data from JTAC

Just a few airfields have ILS operational.

If you have loaded a divert airfield then with the CDU active on the right MFD, on the UFC (beneath the HUD) press the “FUNC” key then the “7” key (with text “FPLAN” beneath it) to get it back.
