Hello everyone,

I've been trying to guess wether my system would run the A-10 at MINIMUM settings, but I can't find the minimum requirements stated anywhere. I have a slow, old system:

Core 2 Duo 2.33ghz

2gb ram

ATi x1600 Pro, 256mb

I can run Black shark on medium settings with decent FPS in most missions (campaign is a slideshow though).

Thanks :smilewink:

Hi and welcome,

I am no expert but I know this sim eats GPU ram. I would guess you will struggle with your graphics card atm. A new patch is due soon which may improve things, also 2 gig of ram will probably need adding to.

Sorry I hope you may hear from someone with the same specs who can run this fanatastic software but I doubt it:doh:

It will run, but it will be very limited.

My current system specs are:

Intel Duo Core @ 1.33 Ghz

2 GB Ram

ATI HD 4550.

Well, it does run, but the graphics and everything is on low. The only setting set to high is textures, otherwise I wouldn't be able to read antything on the cockpit.

But the game has lots of stutters and crashes, and the loading times are really long. And this happens not because of a low quality software, but because my system can't handle it.

I have Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2, Splinter Cell Conviction and all of them run nicely, but this sim needs more computing power. And seeing the videos on YouTube from other people with better systems, I know the game can be much better than what I currently have.

I tried to install Win 7 64 and the performance improved a bit, but still needs an upgrade on the hardware. Right now, I'm saving to buy more run (at least more 6 GB) and a ATI 6850. So, upgrade first, and you'll have a much better experience. And also, get yourself a Track IR. It will be worth it.

This is an amazing sim! 'Nuff said!:pilotfly:

My specs are in my sig. It runs pretty good. Haven't tried a heavy mission yet. Just flying around. More RAM and a better VCard and you should be ok.
