Zeke Posted May 26, 2011 Author Posted May 26, 2011 Tried this tonight and it works: Marked all my 'Mark' points then set the Nav mode to 'Mark' using the UFC. Made one more 'Mark' point and they all were loaded and on the HUD then. Thanks to the guys who suggested this. Flew a long mission tonight, marked all the little buggers I wanted to use Mav's on and then made one more 'mark' point. Good to be able to do this again while starting on the ramp.
GGTharos Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 The issue is reported. There are no guarantees it will make it to 1.1.0.8. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda

vctpil Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Hi all, I have this bug also. I create a training missions, and the problem appears. It appears sometimes anyway. I just launched a quick start mission, and the problem didn't appears. Back to my training mission, and could be able to see the markpoint. This problem seems to appear without any logic. It could be very difficult to solve by the team. By the way, is someone knows how to erase a markpoint ? Thanks. BlackRazor Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 By the way, is someone knows how to erase a markpoint ? Thanks. You can't (as in the real plane).
Kankkis Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 (edited) I think you can, hook it and press delete osb or something like that. I could be wrong. Edited May 26, 2011 by Kankkis Small
latearrival Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 I think you can, hook it and press delete osb or something like that. I could be wrong. You are wrong I'm afraid. The only way to 'delete' a mark point is to overwrite it - after you've created Mark Point Z, the next Mark Point you create will overwrite A. 159th_Viper Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 ....after you've created Mark Point Z.... Should be Mark Y :) Z is the Weapon Release Mark. Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? nomdeplume Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 after you've created Mark Point Z, the next Mark Point you create will overwrite A. Technically the last one is mark Y - mark Z is a magic marker for the calculated point of impact for your latest weapon release, updated every time you fire anything. Can be helpful when you need to make a second attack run but you've gotten lost. :D Edit: curses! 1
latearrival Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 @159th and @ndp - Oops, yes of course. Last is Y.
