Turuk_Makto Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 (edited) Hello, can someone please tell me what this "Initial Point Object" is supposed to do? Is that kind of additional steerpoint, or can that be used as Target Position? I went through the manual and the Quickstart guide, was searchin in the Forums and googled for it. Somehow found nothings about that. It can be found in the Editor menu bar between static Objects and Bullseye. Any reply on this is apreciated. Thanks Edited June 7, 2011 by Turuk_Makto [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Just want to say thank you ED
AfkMan Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 This s an aditional waypoints. Set them in important places and name the the way you like. Write in breifing the meaning of this waypoints. When you'll start your mision you can find them preseted in CDU. Gonzo01 Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 When using the IP Object in the ME how to you know what Steer Mode to select? I have check the GUI guide and there is nothing I can find that really describes the different modes and when to use them. My JTAC does not seem to use them. Could someone elaborate on the different Steer Modes and how they should be used with JTAC (To To, To From, Direct, Terminal, Approach, Enroute)
AfkMan Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 stay with default....you can easily change this modes(To To, To From, Direct, Terminal, Approach, Enroute) in flight if it's needed
