in version 1.0 you could pick up radio stations around Maykop. there are instructions on what frequency you need to tune in the KA-50 flight manual, (although I forget what page, I believe it is at the bottom of the page). That's where I found it. There were about 5 or more songs that would play, all in Russian. Kinda of neat! Also, you could put .ogg audio files in a audio folder in the game directory and you could listen to them instead, (According to the manual), although I never got this to work properly myself. they just wouldn't play for me.

This functionality was removed in v 1.02, although I don't know why. Does anyone know ??

there was talk about it some years back. you can't do it if you have V.1.0.2 installed.

That's right, the feature was removed with the new sound engine introduced in 1.0.2. AFAIK there's only one station anyways: Radio Mayak. Just search the BS forums for that term and you'll find your answer.

I never tried to listen to it before I switched to 1.0.2, but from what I just found in the search results: select VHF 2, 125.675 MHz AM, and make sure you're close to Maykop where the broadcasting antenna is located.
