Firstly, what are the green boxes under my name. I have 6 at the moment, but they are all dark green. Sometimes I see light green ones? What does that mean? Secondly; repping. I gather I can get repped. How do I give a rep? Once, I lost some reps, but shortly after I got some more. if you lose a rep what does it mean? does it come back after a few days or were the replacement reps I got new ones? How do I knock a rep off someone else I just want to know that I am not missing some fundamentals of forum courtesy. Technical Specs: Asus G73JW gaming laptop... i7-740QM 1.73GHz ... What does that mean? Dark green boxes mean you have been repped long time ago. Light green means you've been repped not so long ago, they are fresh. This is how I understand this... Secondly; repping. I gather I can get repped. How do I give a rep? Under poster's name (avatar) you have 3 buttons. One of them (middle one ) allows you give someone reputation. Either positive or negative. Once, I lost some reps, but shortly after I got some more. if you lose a rep what does it mean? It means you are going to die soon. No, it means just someone didn't agree with you or you made so crappy post in someone's point of view. does it come back after a few days or were the replacement reps I got new ones? it will not be replaced...you must wait for mercy and maybe someone will give you positive rep, example for good post. I thought your rep power was your reps, and the green boxes were some sort of recency indicator. Also very interesting to see the comments people had left after repping. I had no idea!
