I have a problem where if I try an lock the shkval onto a target, it just keeps tracking either left or right.

That sounds like you are not locking the target properly. The "tracking either left or right" sounds like you activated the automatic scan feature of the Shkval.

Try increasing/decreasing the target gate size?

As an experienced Black Shark player, I've seen the crazy Shkval a few times myself and I have never seen a proper explanation for its behavior. The Shkval will basically just start going random directions, out of control, at maximum slew rate. No idea how to fix, other than to try resetting the Skhval and uncaging it again.

I resolved this problem yesterday.

I´am using a Saitek X-65F.

"Shkval auto scan rate dial down" was assigned for rotary 1

"Shkval auto scan rate dial up" was assigned for rotary 2

both in the throttle..

The Shkval moved alone, without touch de control...

I reset this assigned commands and the problem stop.
