The Pak Fa is beautiful, but precise and accurate blueprints are not available, when i try to make a shape and put it on a photo you can see that the blueprint is totally innacurate.

 

The best way is plastic model blueprint with a lot of photos of the real plane.

 

So, i go out of my house for two month for windturbine maintenance and i think i have time to see what the next plane can be during those "job hollyday".

 

 

This is like the fixed wing plane from ED i see what i want but i don't really know.

Pictures have the parallax effect so only the center of the image is of actual size and as you go towards the edges parts stretch and go small.

True, You cannot get an ortho-scopic view from photos. Cameras view angle is too narrow and always from perspective. The only way to see and check scale is via exact and precise measurement of dimensions and angles. Easier said than done. ;)

u need plastic model of PAK FA in scale of 1/72 or 1/48.....i have one but i don't have much time to build that model to the end...from that model i can take measurements, and build in AUTO CAD 3d model in real scale...

Assuming of course the model is correct. There are many SU-27 models and few are accurate. Trumpter May be the best and still the canopy is wrong.

 

Modeling is an art. Scale modeling can be an exact science.

 

But I would bet, if the model was pretty close, most of Us would never complain;)

When I talk about plastics model, I talk about blueprints on paper we can found with.

 

Some blueprints i have found in some french plastics model are just great, mirage F1 for example. :thumbup:

I would think a drawing like this could go a long way towards producing a fine model.

The next one (for my part, I don't know if combatace have a new beast in plan) is going to be an "in use" plane, with two fixed wings and two engine, but i don't said any name before release, if I need some tester i said that here. :thumbup:

The problem is that we need help of ED for making some hardcoded things work, but they have don't talk about community moding tools since a lot of time.

 

I don't know what is the point of view of ED about the futur of modding in Lock On and DCS.

 

They don't talk about that since a lot of time, i'm remember an old post by Wags at the start of BS1...

 

How the situation is loading we can't know if the future of modding is going to be good or bad...
