splitter Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 I saw a video of someone panning around the map using the TAD with it completely unlinked from your aircraft in the centre. I've looked in the manual but am unable to find out how to do this. Could someone explain how please?

The top of the TAD will be North as well. I learned that mode from a friend a few days ago and like it a lot. Really easy to tell which direction you're attacking from. AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

711Hancer Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 you can also unhook your cursor and move freely by TMS Aft Short when TAD is SOI.
