This is where it should have gone, and where it will probably be moved to.

As for the question, I have the Saitek Combat pedals but only for a few months so I can't speak to longevity. They are excellent pedals though I wonder if double the price of the standard Saitek pedals is worth it.

They do appear to be nearly indestructable though but, not cheap. I think Amazon is currently selling them for around $190.

I just recently bought the Saitek Flight Pro pedals and love them. Setup was pretty quick and they work great. Like cichlidfan though I've only had them a few weeks but so far so good. :)

I would have loved to get the Simped ones, but cost and availability were too much for me. I'd also have preferred the Saitek Combat ones, but the cost was just too much at the time. Though, if these current ones break, I'll probably get those coz I'm stupid and waste money. :)

I've got the Combat Pro Flight pedals, and although my first set of rudders, I'm very impressed. My only gripe is that theres a little bit of side to side wobble in the actual pedals, but when you're flying it is totally unnoticeable.

I'd definitely give them my vote.

I have experienced both the Pro Flight (1st) and Combat (2nd, 3 months after on Amazon, big price drop) rudder pedals from Saitek but no CH ones. Both Saitek are great but my preference goes for the Combat ones since they are much tougher (have to loosen tension at the maximum) compared to Pro filght (tension is releasing very fast so more action on the tension wheel is continuously needed... Broke mine after one month). In any case, both are wobbling but the Combat feel really more robust.

I have the CH Pro Pedals, but the two things that always annoyed me are a) the spacing of the two pedals; it feels like they are too close together, and b) the spring feels awkward with small rudder changes.

I have them for lots of years now and always managed to use them, but lately I was wondering wether it would be a good choice to change to Saitek's pedals instead?

Mind you, I do not want to spend huge amounts of money on a peripheral that's less important than, say HOTAS or TIR, but it needs to be decent enough.

Would you warrant an 'upgrade' from CH's to Saitek's yourself?

I realise the Combat Pedals go for about 199 euro's. That would be the absolute maximum I would want to spend, but the question is; is it worth it over CH's?

How's the spring on the Saitek? How's the spacing?

Thanks guys!
