Broken Wheel on takeoff.

There's definitely an invisible pothole on some of the runways. By staying over to the left of center, I will usually miss it. You actually hear a "thud" when it happens. Never experienced it on landing, though.

I have a screenie and recording somewhere in which you can see a flash/explosion as the nosewheel vanishes. Some seem less violent than others, perhaps the weight is tied in there as well.

Happens to me a lot at Mineralnye Vody

Happened to me on landing at Vaziani. Landed, was slowing down as normal, in a straight line, not using my wheelbrakes, just my airbrakes. All of a sudden it was like I hit a ski ramp, , with a bang, it completely completely destroyed my nosewheel and threw me up in the air again.

 

Happened to another guy in a MP flight with me on takeoff at Tbilisi-Lochini.

 

Both incidents in the same week.

 

Not sure if some airbases are more subject to this problem than others, but, for example, can't remember this ever happening at Batumi. Luckily, it is a fairly rare problem.
