kobac Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 My DCS: A-10c WARTHOG VAC profile is in attachment. Couple notes: To have the command, for LMFCD RMFCD, worked properly in the simulation, you need to adjust keyboard as shown in figures. LMFCD RMFCD You should also set: Landing lights on > RSHIFT+G Taxi lights on > RCTRL+G Anti collision lights on > LALT+L For profile activation key I chose key T, but you can choose another that suits you. I have problem: VAC doesn't send L-WIN, R-WIN and PAUSE commands to game. In fact it seems that keys do not activate at all - I checked with Passmark keyboard test. See pictures below. I have Win7x64. For testing purposes, I turned off the Saitek programs that could interfere. Please for those who have a DCS: A-10C simulation to check whether this is happening with them, or I have somehow VAC profile set differently?DCS_A-10C_WARTHOG_VAC_4cGrom.rarActivation_phrases.rar [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Everything is possible ...
kobac Posted October 14, 2011 Author Posted October 14, 2011 (edited) It is interesting that for two days no one answers. :-( Of course I can solve problem in another way, but I wanted to know whether other users who have, VAC sent the correct RWIN, LWIN and PAUSE commands to the simulation, or is it just in my case? I am very disappointed with the cooperation and solidarity of other users VAC ... Edited October 16, 2011 by kobac [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Everything is possible ...
jib Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Hey don't be disheartened, I just think that most people that have the sense to buy VAC will also make there own profile. Not to put you off posting yours here, you could really make someone's day, I know just how long it takes to make and test these things. To answer your question YES I belive I did have trouble with VAC and DSC recognizing left vs right WIN keys. DCS is rare that it distinguishes between left and right modifier keys(but it just has so many buttons it has to!!). Mods I use: KA-50 JTAC - Better Fire and Smoke - Unchain Rudder from trim KA50 - Sim FFB for G940 - Beczl Rocket Pods Updated! Processor: Intel Q6600 @ 3.00GHz GPU: GeForce MSI RTX 2060 6GB RAM: Crucial 8GB DDR2 HDD: 1TBGB Crucial SSD OS: Windows 10, 64-bit Peripherals: Logitech G940 Hotas, TrackiR 5, Voice Activated commands , Sharkoon 5.1 headset. ,Touch Control for iPad, JoyToKey
kobac Posted October 19, 2011 Author Posted October 19, 2011 Thank you for your understanding jib. You're right, this profile it took me 3 days and still has minor errors (duplicate phrases etc). This is exactly what I needed, just to someone answer whether they have a problem with WIN buttons, VAC and DCS. I've written about this problem to creator VAC, but he says he haven't DCS A-10, so can't check what's the problem. Tested in FSX, and all controls are working properly. I solved my problem by instead using WIN key I use SHIFT key, so maybe this help someone. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Everything is possible ...
hesynergy Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 (edited) kudos! Dood! Without even looking at your code, I KNOW how long it takes to do setups like this, and I want you to know that you and ALL the devs need special thanks for your efforts and dedication. That being said, would you comment on the use of the TM Hotas duo with your setup? THANK YOU! Chas Edited January 7, 2012 by hesynergy
spikenet Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Hi, I have found the same, windows keys not sent. Not really a big deal for me as those keys are rarely used so I'll reach for the keyboard :)

I am very disappointed with the cooperation and solidarity of other users VAC ... Hi Mate, I only just noticed this thread... Anyway, I have the same issue, no recognition of Win keys. If you look at my profile attached, I have mapped the 'toggle snap views' to a single key (space) and I have a command to toggle snaps first, then se;ect each view individually. I'd rather have a single voice command though!
