amalahama Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Hi have just found this video in Youtube, I thought it might be useful Presets behaviour seems not to match with the real thing. In the video it can be seen that, when preset is changed, it's necesary to press "Status" to re-tune the radio (or at least to see which frequency is tuned). ADF function looks nice (It isn't properly modelled in sim) and the word "n-load" appears on the screen when "load" button is pressed. Regards!
jazjar Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Interesting... Something a study sim should pay attention to... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Frostiken Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I'm pretty sure the n-load is a Have Quick feature (the beeping when cycling backwards from channel 20 definitely is) which isn't modeled either. It's most likely letting you load the FMTs, or if not that, then a key for the secure voice. You're not missing anything, it would break your head trying to get it to work. God knows we don't, and usually most pilots don't either. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
