Yes I was noticing this myself.... hmmmm

This may lend something to what I've been noticing since I first started the Beta. Switching through all of the aircraft models while in game, F-18, 16,15, etc. The F-15E is the most detailed aircraft model, next to the A-10. A lot of work for a "secondary" aircraft.

A few F-21A's (KFIR - if I remember correctly) was purchased (or leased) by the USMC back in the late 80's for Disimalar-Air Combat Training - as I've seen them fly in MCAS Cherry Point (NC).. way back then.

Oh no, I hope it's not a 2 seater as all my friends are not into flight simulators and would make useless navigators / bomb aimers or whatever the GIB does. I'm not going back there. I'm the driver.

If the next aircraft is the strike eagle I'm really looking forward to some great co-operative multiplayer, front and back seat working together to identify threats and take out targets. I'd have a lot to learn about how the F-15E actually goes about this.

If it's a fighter then I'm hoping someone can build a really cool campaign for red flag exercises around Nellis.

I wouldn't sweat it too much. The F-15E is not like the F-14 where the GIB has his job and only that job and that's all he does. The avionics integration between front and back is 90% complete and there's very little you can't do from either cockpit. The pilot can designate targets (to some degree) with the pod while the WSO flies the plane if they really wanted to.

I think the more serious issue would be having to buy Thrustmaster Strike Eagle for $800 which would consist of the front grips (which, despite what people say, aren't exactly like the A-10Cs) and front stick, and two hand controllers in back :)

I'd have a lot to learn about how the F-15E actually goes about this.

Graduating to the F-15Es avionics from the A-10s is like graduating from Duplo to Mindstorms.

if DCS made an F15E I would die of happiness

Does not make sense to make that plane.

Going to add 2 x 2 together but may come up with #5

Lets see in the A-10 Beta's the F-15 changed quite a lot, opening panels, different engine nacelle's and I'm sure other bits and bobs. I've not really looked at the latest A-10 download yet but what little I have seen the F-15C and E have lost a majority of the eye candy, I think it's just a ladder that comes down now ?.

This could I suppose mean they have tried out the opening panels etc as an experiment for the next DCS aircraft, supposition will run riot but those are my thoughts. Next DCS Aircraft will be a F-15 Model. Just my 2 penny worth ......

Sorry Mower,

My Morphine medications are kicking in, and English humour.

Over the course of the A-10 betas the F-15 has changed it's eye candy. it had opening panels in the nose area, the engine nacelle's also changed as I seem to remember, (I maybe wrong). I was wondering if ED was "testing" certain items for the future DCS aircraft, maybe an F-15.

Does that explain better ?.

And as for speaking English I am ENGLISH !!! lol Iknew what I meant. I just married a Texan Lady and got hog tied here in sunny Texas (Said half jokingly)
