    • Keep them as they are....

    • Make Rmouse the up function and Lmouse the down function...

When I am doing ramp starts I find I get confused with the dials when I press Rmouse and the function springs back to the first of many positions. This makes me have to zoom in to see where the switch is presently at and then mentally think which button to press.I think for rotaries and switches a better way to represent them is to not allow this spring back to first position. This way you can as a player just left click Lmouse a few times to reset the rotary and then Rmouse the required clicks to hit your desired position.Same with switches like the MFD power button that snap back to the first option when pressing Rmouse.I do know that ED made it this way for a reason since some switches function the way I like but most do not.The switches just feel more real when they stop moving and you have to turn them the oppsoite way IMO. :)

Superb post Crescendo and makes my detailed post seem rather lame.:megalol:It seems to be needed by some as it is implemented right now though so if ED were to implement a fix then make it switchable as mentioned.

Much better than a righ/left click would be to simulate it like it is done in Helios.

You click on a switch or rotary - and you move your mouse in the direction you want to move the switch.

Never forget : always give the choice, ED must NEVER DELETE a function, but make an option for switch against the first to the second !!!

Any one will be happy

I know a big page with a lot of options can be boring but its better to have the choice for everything rather than have a minimum of options and don't have what we want...

This idea are nice, more realist and can help you to not confuse and sometime make big mistake in flight.

Would have to try the Helios to see if I like that.Main thing for me is to remove the snap back to first option when you reach the last option. And definitely options is important.

We are experimenting now with the addition of the ability to press directly on the labels near switches, to make it more clear where the switch will be positioned after a mouse action.

Interesting though I have no idea if it will be liked and thank you Olgerd for posting on it.

In my opinion, selections that are not cyclic, should not be cyclic. The master arm switch f.ex., I think if you press right mouse button when it is in the arm position, it should not cycle back to training position, but remain there.

Nice plane on that gun...
