Well it's been exactly one year since first unwrapping Black Shark and that's been a seriously good year having not flown flight sims for a while. I liked it so much I got A-10. And now I've just got FC2 so thank you ED for an amazing year of simming. :yay:

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

To me, from first playing sims like Silent Hunter III, back in 2007, moving on to SHIV in 2009-2010, DCS has been the fair share of simming. Without such realism, complex gameplay, realistic modelling of dynamics and damage to aircrafts, unprecedented in any other flight sim, I'm adding my voice to you.

Excellent job, ED. Waiting for the next bombshell. Merry Christmas to you all, and a Happy New Year! yay.gif

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

I've met with Black Shark, one year ago. This month, I got BlackShark 2. Amazing sim software.

I think I may say that "You've changed my life."... in a way... :D

I switched off stability augmentation and used BS to practise before my helicopter TIF.

Imagine that; I held all four controls (including manual throttle) while holding a stable hover and then made a left hand spot turn with relative ease. From five years of instructing, my instructor told me I was only the sixth person to be able to do that.

Thank you ED, for helping me make my helicopter TIF one of the best experiences of my life!
