Hi guys .. using the mission planer or the editor to select different load outs (weapons) but once in the copit they dont appear in the DSMS even though I can see them using external view..see the pictures...Mission started flying so I should not have to use the load procedure that we use when rearm in the ground...I am missing something?????

Thanks

Peter

You must reload the DSMS page sometimes on start. Hold the bottom right button on the left MCD IIRC (perhaps 2 seconds), and teh load page will appear. From here you simply select DSMS and press load, still IIRC.

I tried that.....result is just the same........:music_whistling:

do you start in the air or do you start on the ground cold start ?

also is this a self made mission or playing around with one that has already been made ?

If you change them in the editor they should work in the mission, double check the mission in the editor.

I would attach the mission and let one of us have a look :)

This is serious...

Any load out from the ground crew shows in external but not on the DSMS ...however , see the TGP camera working as well as the mavericks align ready..."Yes I did LOAD ALL procedure'"....I also tried to change weapons using the editor ...save it...ect...The DSMS just dont recognize any new load out..even if they come from the mission editor...I hope that we dont have to wait for two months to get this fix....:(

best way to see if there is a problem would be to post a track or the mission file to see if we can replicate :)

See above. Without this there is nothing that can be done, you haven't even said which mission is the problem.

If you think you have found an issue, see the link below and report accordingly.

I had this very issue some time ago whilst creating missions.

If you go into Mission Editor and select "Flight", "Prepare Mission", this causes the aircraft to load weps differently. There is a solution ( apart from scrapping the mission and starting again) but you need to edit the mission in an editor like Notepad++.

Sorry, I forgot the editing proceedure. I think you delete the weapons section in the mission. It was discussed on the forum about 6 months ago, but cant remember the thread:mad:, my old memory again!

I will post it if I find it, but I never mess with the prepare mission feature.

EDIT This is one such thread, I am sure there are others;-

Assuming this is the problem of course:)

Cheers.

You dont need to re install A10! But the mission you saved after using the "prepare mission" feature in the Mission Editor will need to be either edited in the manner described in the link, or scrapped.

Cheers.

If you or the mission designer used the prepare mission function and configured DSMS settings then all is working fine. If you want to change the payload just unpack the miz file using 7zip or whatever, delete the config file in the DSMS folder, repack the contents of the mission folder as a zip and finally change the .zip file extension to .miz.

Hi eddy here is the mission track

The mission file would be more helpful in this case.

You can also just delete the "player"aircraft from the mission (the one you used the prepare mission function on) and create a new Player slot.

Should be an easy fix. The prepare mission function is only really effective if it is the LAST thing you do when making a mission. Otherwise it tends to screw things up

System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer
